
Brad E. Kauffman, Esq.
Brad was admitted to the State Bar of Maryland in 2010 and is now a Junior Partner at Kauffman and Forman. He is a graduate of University of Baltimore School of Law and was named as a Rising Star in the 2020 edition of the Super Lawyers magazine. Brad represents clients in the District Court, Circuit Court, and administrative hearings in civil litigation, personal injury, construction law, collection matters, guardianships, special education due process proceedings, replevin actions, discrimination claims and Landlord and Tenant disputes. He also spends a considerable amount of time in his practice reviewing subcontracts, drafting Notices to Claim a Lien, Mechanics Lien Petitions, Last Will and Testaments, Powers of Attorneys and other Pleadings.
In law school, Brad interned for the Maryland Disability Law Center and Family Law Clinic of the University of Baltimore. He became passionate about advocating for the disabled and disadvantaged.
As an attorney, Brad has been successful in obtaining tuition reimbursement for a student in one of the school districts who did not receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) as a result of a violation of the IDEA. In the area of the Fair Housing Act, Brad successfully obtained a judgement against a Landlord who discriminated against a disabled tenant.
Many of the clients appreciate Brad’s personable demeanor and caring disposition.
In his spare time, Brad likes to spend time with family and friends, read and write articles, and participate in various charitable organizations.
